Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated September 24, 2026

1. Overview and Applicability

The OneDive software-as-a-service platform and all associated tools (“Platform”) connects dive shops, distributors, and manufacturers to manage catalogs, pricing, and inventory. This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs all usage of the Platform, including product listings, inventory uploads, promotional materials, technical documentation, and communications. “We”, “Our”, and “Us” herein refer to ONE DIVE, INC.

This AUP applies to all users on all account tiers of the Platform. All activity must comply with this AUP, applicable local and international laws, trade regulations, and data protection standards. Violations may result in listing removals, suspension of access, or permanent account termination.

2. Prohibited Product Categories and Content

To maintain market integrity, regulatory compliance, and a brand-safe environment, users are strictly prohibited from listing, offering, or promoting items within the following categories via the Platform:

  • (a) Controlled Substances & Illegal Goods: Narcotics, illegal drugs, prescription medications, synthetic drugs, precursor chemicals, and drug paraphernalia.
  • (b) Firearms & Explosives: Firearms, firearm parts/accessories, ammunition, explosive devices, or other weapons, except for standard dive knives, line cutters, spearguns, flares, flare guns, wildlife deterrents, or offerings restricted to law enforcement and/or military.
  • (c) Adult & Pornographic Content: Sexually explicit content, pornography, adult novelties, or sexually suggestive marketing imagery/text.
  • (d) Hate Speech & Discriminatory Content: Material or branding that promotes, facilitates, or encourages violence, discrimination, hate speech, or harassment based on any legally protected class.
  • (e) Intellectual Property Infringement & Counterfeits: Unauthorized gray-market, knockoff, or counterfeit goods, or any content infringing upon third-party patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, or licensing rights.
  • (f) Uncertified or Hazardous Equipment: Life-support equipment, high-pressure gas systems, or buoyancy devices that fail to comply with applicable safety certifications (e.g., CE, DOT, ISO, EN standards) or falsely claim safety testing and compliance.
  • (g) Hazardous Materials & Unregulated Chemicals: Chemical substances, anti-fouling agents, or dangerous goods lacking required labeling or documentation (such as Safety Data Sheets) under maritime and transport safety regulations.
  • (h) Stolen, Unauthorized, or Fraudulent Goods: Stolen property, liquidated inventory sold without authorization, or listings designed to defraud dealers or misrepresent supply chain origin.
  • (i) Wildlife & Byproducts: any wildlife, living or dead organism, and/or their byproducts wherein harvest, gathering, hunting, possession, transport, or commercial activity is unlawful.
  • (j) Gambling: lotteries, sweepstakes, games of chance, prediction markets, or random chance offerings (commonly known as “blind boxes” or “loot boxes”).

3. Catalog, Pricing, and Data Integrity

Users are required to maintain accurate records and respect platform data rights. Users shall not:

  • (a) Submit False Data: Upload false, fraudulent, or deliberately misleading product data, pricing information, inventory counts, or technical specifications.
  • (b) Manipulate External Records: Alter, tamper with, or manipulate catalog records, price lists, or inventory data belonging to another business, distributor, or manufacturer without explicit authorization.
  • (c) Impersonate Businesses: Impersonate another business entity, manufacturer, dealer, or user, or misrepresent account tiers or supply chain authority.

4. System Security, Automated Access, and Competing Use

To protect platform infrastructure, proprietary data, and multi-tenant security, users shall not:

  • (a) Engage in Scraping or Extraction: Use automated tools, scripts, bots, spiders, crawlers, or scrapers to harvest, query, copy, or monitor catalog data, pricing, inventory records, or dealer directories, except via official platform APIs explicitly authorized in writing.
  • (b) Bypass Technical Controls: Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with multi-tenant access controls, row-level security, authentication mechanisms, CAPTCHAs, rate limits, or platform security features.
  • (c) Misuse Data or Build Competing Services: Extract, harvest, or utilize platform content, pricing, or catalog data to build a competing product, dataset, commercial directory, or to train machine learning/AI models.
  • (d) Compromise Platform Integrity: Upload viruses, malware, ransomware, or malicious code; conduct unauthorized security, penetration, or stress testing; or place an unreasonable load on platform networks and infrastructure.
  • (e) Resell or Share Access: Resell, sublicense, or grant unauthorized third parties access to the Platform, or share credentials outside authorized organizational users.

5. User Conduct and Harassment

Users are expected to conduct business professionally. Harassment, threats, intimidation, or abuse directed at Our employees or contractors, or other Platform users is strictly prohibited.

Users shall not circumvent this AUP, directly or indirectly, including but not limited to inciting, soliciting, or conspiring with third parties to violate this AUP. Users shall not share or direct attention to personal information, contact information, website addresses, or review pages of third parties in any context that is reasonably likely to result in such harassment, threats, or intimidation (including but not limited to “doxing” or “review bombing”).

This restriction covers all interactions conducted directly through platform messaging and directory tools, as well as off-Platform communications (via external email, phone, social media, messaging apps, or in-person interactions) originating from connections or directory data from the Platform.

6. Enforcement, Takedowns, and Account Suspension

We reserve the right to monitor platform activity and enforce this AUP at Our sole discretion:

  • (a) Listing Takedowns: Any listing or content violating this AUP, posing legal liability, or infringing on third-party rights may be removed, modified, or rejected immediately without prior notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify affected users before acting, except where delay would cause further harm.
  • (b) Account Suspension & Repeat Offenders: We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for repeated or egregious non-compliance. Repeat offenders are subject to progressive disciplinary action, including temporary listing suspensions, full account lockouts, or permanent account termination under applicable agreements.
  • (c) Immediate Legal Countermeasures: Severe violations — including but not limited to illegal listings, deliberate data theft, unauthorized scraping, or system abuse — may result in immediate account suspension, technical IP blocking, and civil litigation for statutory or actual damages.
  • (d) Law Enforcement: Where violations involve illegal activity, we may refer the matter to appropriate law enforcement authorities.

7. Reporting Violations

If you believe another user or account is violating this AUP, please report it to:

Include the account or organization name involved, a description of the behavior or content, and any relevant URLs, screenshots, or evidence. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not disclose your identity to anyone associated with the reported account.
